Interview with Our Executive Director, Shana Brubaker

The Ross College Foundation recently celebrated its first anniversary. Executive Director Shana Brubaker joins us for an interview to discuss our first year and share the goals for year two.

How would you sum up the Foundation’s first year?

SB – Our first year was all about growing our footprint as a nonprofit organization. It was important to us that we were active in the community by volunteering at events and holding supply drives for other local nonprofit organizations. We held several fundraisers, and couldn’t be more grateful to Ross employees and other stakeholders for their contributions. It is because of their generosity that we were able to fund two active scholarships and one grant that is currently in development. 

What were some of the major successes over the past year?

SB – The inaugural Ross College Foundation Charity Awards Dinner was by far our greatest success! I am humbled by the amount of Ross employees, alumni, family, friends, employers, and business partners that showed up to support our students! 

What is the Foundation’s goal for the upcoming year?

SB – In the year ahead, we are looking forward to providing more scholarship and grant opportunities for students attending Ross Medical Education Center and Ross College.
